We improved upon this classy 200 Series Landcruiser by kitting it out with some gadgets for off the grid travel.
Using a genuine Toyota Battery Tray and clamp, we installed an under bonnet 105Ah AGM Dual Battery System and used our own custom bracket to mount a Redarc BCDC 1225D Vehicle and Solar Charger.
Included in the fit out is:
Toyota fit USB / Voltmeter in the dash
Fridge and Accessory sockets in the rear
A Victron 375VA Inverter with Bluetooth Dongle, mounted discreetly in a rear side pocket
Aftermarket Switch Panel with USB, Toyota switch for Inverter and a spot lights switch
A Red Solar Anderson Plug to the battery
12 pin trailer socket wiring for caravan power supply
KT 300W Solar blanket to keep the system charged up when parked up.
Food and drinks are set to stay cold and mobile phones and electronic accessories have ready outlets to stay charged.
